Toyota first generation Avalon was launched in the year 1994, in the United States. It has been classified as Toyota’s largest front-wheel-drive sedan in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Middle East. The Avalon was launched as a replacement for the Toyota Cressida, a rear wheel drive that was discontinued in the year 1992 and a straight six engine, while the Avalon was powered with a V6 engine. The name Avalon is named after a legendary island in the Arthurian Islands, and fit in with Toyota’s tradition of naming their sedans after the word crown in various languages and other things associated with royalty.

From the initial date of launching the Avalon, the world has seen four generations of the Avalon, and now it’s time to see the fifth. Toyota calls the 5th generation Avalon the ‘brand catalyst’ for it defines the brand’s direction for the future.

Designs that breathes confidence

The Avalon has slim LED headlamps accompanied with a 3-Dimensional aero fin-shaped reverse, stop, and indicator lights. While the single harmonious fluid form lights are attractive, it’s the front grille that steals the show. The car is designed to slice through the air with power and style. The luxurious appearance is completed by the newly developed 18-inch alloy wheels, finished in bright super chrome paint. This is a car you wouldn’t miss on the road.

Performance that’s a class apart

The all-new Avalon 2019 has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum output of 298 HP and 356 Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with the latest Direct Injection 4-Stroke Gasoline Engine Superior Version (D-4S) and Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide (VVT-iW) systems to achieve top-notch power performance, environmental relevance, and fuel efficiency.

Interiors that breathe luxury

The Avalon boasts a range of advanced features that will take your breath away. It sports a 9-inch multimedia display, a wireless charger for smartphones, ambient illumination, dual-zone automatic air conditioning system, 14-speaker JBL surround system, multi-adjustable power and ventilated front seats, and 60:40 split folding rear seats. In addition to these features, Toyota has spoilt people for choice by introducing 4 colour variants for the interiors as well – Brown, Beige, Gray and Black. You can now make a bold statement in the colour that resonates your personality.

Guaranteeing a safe drive

The 2019 Avalon ensures a safe and smooth drive each time you get your hands behind the steering with its enhanced safety systems. The Avalon is equipped with Toyota safe sense, an advanced safety technology package that includes Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Automatic High Beam (AHB).

In addition, the Avalon is also has a total of 10 airbags to ensure driver and passenger safety. These airbags help reduce the impact on passengers at the time of collision. It also comes with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), which means if the vehicle senses a loss of traction or a slip, it brakes automatically to prevent any damage to you or your car. Along with these features, the Avalon is armed with Traction Control (TRC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Brake Hold function, Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and the list goes on.
